Honor Flight to World War II Memorial From Lyndon High School
Ray Talbott a B 17 tail gunner from Ottawa will join four other World War II veterans from Pomona and Garnett on an Honor Flight to Washington D C to visit the World War II Memorial and other memorials. Lyndon USD 421 students funded tickets and will escort the group on a free one day trip. The plan grew from a parade moment when superintendent Brian Spencer offered Talbott a complimentary flight.
