A tea shower was held Sunday in the basement of Richmond St Therese Catholic Church to honor Janet Lickteig bride elect of Steve Evans. Hostesses included Mrs. Bowman Hiles Lyon Hermreck Hopkins Poss and Chandler. Cathy and Diane Lickteig assisted with gifts. The blue and silver decor and 36 guests marked the event.
Mr and Mrs Lewis Sobba of rural Richmond celebrated 40 years of marriage with a Mass of Thanksgiving at St Therese Catholic Church in Richmond. A noon potluck followed in the church basement. The cake was made by their niece Mrs Duane Campbell. The couple wed April 22 1931 at St Boniface Church in Scipio.
