County finds fix to fund community partners for 2019
Franklin County commissioners approve using transient guest tax to fund part of the 2019 community partner program. They shift 11,687 from the Franklin County Historical Society to the Conservation District and backfill with TGT funds, pending the 2019 budget. The move keeps 2019 partner funding near 45 thousand for the district while 2018 total was just over 700 thousand. Colton Waymire opposed. Rick Howard supported to cover 2019 only.
