Beef Heist Report Says Driver Arrested Over Vanished Cargo

Ralph Pritchett, 49, of Manchester, was arrested in Hartford after a $500,000 truckload of beef disappeared from Priority Refrigerated Service. The truck failed to deliver in Suffield at 1 am Monday. meat later reached the company. Pritchett faces first degree larceny charges on $50,000 bond.

Pignapped Pig Found in Stolen Car

Wheeling police recovered a missing potbellied pig in the back seat of a car reported stolen in Ohio. The owner said the pig was in the vehicle when it was taken Tuesday from a restaurant parking lot in St. Clairsville. Officers followed the car after spotting a man staggering to it and stopped it after erratic driving.
