Ottawa University softball falls to Saint Mary in Leavenworth
The Ottawa University softball team lost both games to the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth. The opener went eight innings 2-1 with Sondra Day pitching and Angi Thetford and Kerry Higbie each gathering two hits. In the nightcap Saint Mary broke a 1-1 tie with five runs in the fifth and sixth to win 6-1 as Ottawa finished 9-23 and 3-12 in conference play.
