Ottawa High went 1-3 in tennis yesterday as Lawrence defeated the Cyclones. In doubles Jack Smith and Sherm Spears beat Steve McNown and Bill Shenk 6-1 6-2. Singles saw Chris Pinet of Lawrence beat Tom Mudrick 6-2 6-3 and Jack Maloney defeat Gordon Bruce 6-0 6-6. Stan Hanson and Fred Hartman of Lawrence won 6-4 6-1 over Herb Harrah and Roger Castell.
