Washington AP says President Reagan pressed Kohl by phone to cancel the Bitburg cemetery stop but Kohl stood by plans. White House notes the wreath ceremony remains under discussion with Bonn as Regan says the trip is still on. The Bitburg site holds 47 SS troopers' graves.

Carlin seeks prison expansion funds in budget amendments
