Intrust to Sell Seven Branches to Conserve Resources

Intrust Bank vice chairman Ron Baldwin said the sale of seven branches including Ottawa is to conserve scarce resources as the bank shifts focus to larger, faster growing markets like Lawrence and Manhattan. He expects buyers for Ottawa, Palmeiras, and others with strong locations and customer bases. The sale’s purchaser will be chosen by July, with unchanged staff and service until then and a hope all employees are hired by the new owner.
