Wellsville Softball Takes Two In Final Frames
Wellsville High softball won two close games in extra innings and a seventh inning rally. On Thursday they beat Eudora 3-2 after breaking a 2-2 tie, but lost the nightcap 9-8 in nine. Earlier they defeated Louisburg 13-10 in nine. The Louisburg game was suspended due to darkness with Louisburg leading 11-7 after four innings and will be completed later. Senior clutch hitting powered the opener as Jacklyn Neis, Jill Dorsey, and Lindsay Roecker delivered.
