Coleman career in limbo at Kansas State

Norris Coleman faces two paths after NCAA Eligibility Committee ruling. He can redshirt and lose aid until Feb 27 1987, then return in 1987-88, or appeal the decision. The ruling bars him from playing or receiving aid at K State until that date, while allowing transfer to another Division I school with immediate eligibility. Coleman's high scoring season and potential appeals frame a tense dispute between the player, university, and NCAA.
