Activities include a walk run group at Kanza Park and several 7 p m meetings about local education capital outlay, preservation, recovery dinner, veterans post affairs and a Wellsville council session.
Carnival time at Central Heights Elementary PTO Carnival offers family activities. Friday listings include Wellsville events and Ottawa gatherings such as Al Anon at First Baptist Church Fourth and Hickory. Alcoholics Anonymous Ottawa Group meets at First Baptist Church Fourth and Hickory in Ottawa.
The Thursday program lists Toddler Time at Ottawa Library, Armchair Aerobics at Washburn Towers, Toddler Time again, a Community Blood Center drive at Waverly High School, Bingo at Ottawa Senior Center, Resume and Job Hunting Workshop at the library, Best for Women seminar on self defense at Ransom Memorial Hospital, and Bingo at Ottawa VFW Post No. 5901.

Sightings of cougars or mountain lions increase across the central United States from Wisconsin to Kansas. Wisconsin managers record many reports but have confirmed only two in the state.
