Cuba topic at B P W dinner sparks Cuba revolt debate
J W Erler of Sears Roebuck told Ottawa Business and Professional Women at the North American Hotel that a people's revolt in Cuba is hardly possible and cited Hungary's example. He described Cuba’s transition under Castro as an agrarian upheaval followed by communist consolidation. He warned Castro could threaten the United States as a dead martyr.
