Pomona Lake fifth-year inspection under way by Army Corps
Inspectors from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers converged on Pomona Lake to conduct the fourth five-year inspection. Project manager Rick Bagby said there were no major problems and the dam appears in good condition for its age. The study covers the 110-Mile Creek project begun in 1959 with flood control, recreation, wildlife, water quality, and downstream flow as initial goals.
