Slide replaces firehouse pole at Mount Pleasant station
Mount Pleasant Michigan firefighters will gain a plastic spiral slide from their third floor quarters to the trucks. The $17,000 addition to the public safety building aims to reduce ankle knee and back injuries and speed response. Most will prefer the slide though use during calls is optional.
