Eight Die In A Fire In Saratoga Springs
A mother and father and six children perished when a downtown business and apartment building burned in Saratoga Springs New York early today. More than 50 residents lived in the three story frame structure as flames forced many to flee onto the street half dressed. One man was hospitalized with burns. Mr and Mrs Gilbert Abeel their children and 10 year old Garry La Rue were trapped as the blaze engulfed the building. The Abeel children ranged in age up to 11. William Selby 43 suffered burns to face and back.

Two Killed At Topeka Bridge Crash Claims Two
