Cosmosphere cofounder accused of stealing space artifacts
Max Ary, former Cosmosphere leader in Hutchinson, Kansas, is indicted on 11 federal counts for stealing space memorabilia, selling about 92 items for roughly $180,000, and depositing proceeds to his personal accounts. The case covers artifacts loaned from NASA and other donors. Prosecutors say more than 100 items remain unaccounted for.
