Ulery freed after incompetence ruling in Miami County case
A 17 year old girl was slain in Miami County. Larry Ulery, a part time filling station worker, was charged but later deemed incompetent to stand trial. The charges were dismissed and he was not committed to a state hospital. Critics say the decision highlights legal tensions between protecting the accused and justice for victims.
