Completed Work Two assessors in the county have completed their work, Bruce Spears, county clerk, said today. They are R. L. Dister, Appanoose township, and Howard Kalb, Hayes township. United Cemetery district will hold its annual meeting on April 10, at 8 p.m., at Centropolis school. Mrs. Vernon L. Keagy and children are visiting her mother, Mrs. R. W. Harr, 205 FE. 5th, and will also visit Mr. and Mrs. IL. R. Keagy, 830 W. 5th.

At an Ottawa high school assembly, blind musicians Kengo Sakamoto and Richard Smith performed, sponsored by the National Transcribing Society for the Blind. Police arrested Frank Dowell of 123 S. Cedar yesterday afternoon for being drunk.

The National Advisory Committee on Poliomyelitis vaccine will meet in Washington on April 18 to review the voluntary control program as the new disease year begins. The panel, formed last May to guide equitable Salk vaccine distribution, includes physicians health officials industry and parent teacher representatives. A March 31 tally shows California with 365 of 1,072 polio cases, Texas 172, New York 54, Florida 37, Louisiana 31, Arizona 29, Oregon 27, with no other state above 25.
