Oil spikes cap week as Wall Street weakens on energy fears
Markets edged lower in New York as oil prices surged above 58 dollars a barrel, heightening worries that higher energy costs will slow growth. ChevronTexaco's 164 billion dollar bid for Unocal remains in focus while investors eye possible bids for MCI and Morgan Stanley. Dow falls to 10,398.79 as oil speculation dominates trading. Grain and county price quotes are listed from Ottawa and Franklin County markets.
