Bo McCoy and cousin Ron McCoy filed suit against John and Barbara Vance to gain access to a cemetery in Pikeville where three McCoy boys were buried after execution by Hatfields in 1882. The dispute centers on whether the cemetery road is public or private property amid liability concerns from the Vances. Tolbert Pharmer and Randolph McCoy are also buried there along with Ellison Hatfield's alleged killer victims.
