Final construction approval for a 60 unit five story housing project at Seventh and Poplar is expected within a week. Wichita developer Stephen L. Schuetz of Investment Resources Corp says a HUD conditional commitment is near and bids could be advertised by mid-May with construction starting between mid-June and July 1. The 60 one bedroom units will be subsidized with rents up to 275 dollars and include a community room offices and resident manager.
