Funeral Wednesday 10:30 am at Coughlin Funeral Chapel with Rev Loyal Hiatt of Wellsville Baptist church officiating. Burial in Wellsville cemetery.

Quiet Dinner Tragedy Ends In Family Slaughter
In Saint Joseph Missouri a quiet Sunday dinner ended when Daniel Woolridge 14 seized a pump action .22 rifle after his mother confiscated a hunting knife. He shot and killed his father Ossie Woolridge 57 and mother Doris 45 and brother Paul 6 and wounded Doris 12 as the family gathered. He confessed after being picked up at a theater following the crime. A juvenile status review will follow.

BIS Fugitives Held In Missouri
Missouri Highway Patrol arrested two fugitives from the Kansas Bays Industrial Home at Topeka after they fled a filling station without paying for gas. Franco Displays New Weapons in Victory Day Parade
General Francisco Franco showcased a wide array of U S military hardware during a Victory Day parade marking 18 years since the civil war defeat. The event drew hundreds of thousands of Spaniards along Castellana avenue as tanks jeeps and motorized artillery rolled by.
