I MRS. PE/TER A. P. BECK Funeral services for Mrs, Peter A. P. Beck, 70, killed Tuesday in an auto crash, were conducted at 2 p. ra. Friday in the Carson funeral home, Maquoketa. Rev. M. C. Melcher, Del mar Methodist minister, officiated Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery, Maquoketa.Junior Hicks of Maquoketa sang, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Lola Wants.Pythian Sisters, employees of the Jackson State bank of which Mr. Beck is a director, and representatives of the Iowa Mutual Tornado Insurance Co. and of the Allied Mutual Insurance Co., in which Mr, Beck is prominent, attended the rites in a body. Pallbearers were Wayne Moeller, Charles Van Gorder, Donald Witte, Virgil Davis, Emil Laseh-ansky and James Anderson.Many people attended from over the state.
