College Picnic.Last Suturduy the faculty and students of tlic Montana State Normal College Hpent the day in Sheep Canon about twelve tulles south of Dillon. The day was on ideal one and was spent sight-see-, ing in this picturesque canon. At ! this time of the vear everything is at its prettiest and a person, to appreciate the pleasure these ! young people enjoyed, must go ' on one of these picnics. Nearly every make of vehicle was pressed into service for the occasion. The Concord coach, tallyho, spring wagons, and wagons with hay racks filled with haj, were all used for this great event. A sumptuous lunch was prepared by the ladies of the dormitory and was greatly relished, speaking for the young ladies who prepared the feast. On returning in the evening the teams drove through the principal streets of Dillon, and the college yell was given in a manner that would lead a person to believe these young ladies, who are aspiring to the position of teachers, will be able to fill their places with a credit to tliemselves and an honor to the cdllege.t(
