ObituaryJohn Springer was bom near Fair-nvrnt. West Virginias December 2, 1S39 and departed this life at the home of hv daughter, Mrs. John B. H'de of Biewersville, Indiana, Dec. 3. 1023 age 84 years and 1 day. He was the son of Dennis and Jane Springer and the last of eleven children.In 1894 he came to Indiana with the daughter who £?fCives him. Hislife since then with the exception of the last three year? at Pendleton, was] spent in and rear Springport.| In December 1894 he was united in marriage to Sarah Shipley Veach, who preceded him to the Great Beyond less than three weeks ago. So these two who meant so mifch to each other while living, were not long separated by death. jFor four years tne deceased had been an invalid, suffering from leakage of the heart. After the death of his wife, he came taf make his home with his daughter, btft had been with her just one short week. His condition was not believed to be any worse than usual, in met, he appeared I to be growing stronger, until Saturday evening when he suffered a severe attack of the heart, which was repeated on Sunday evening and again on “Monday night, when he peacefully passed away.For years Mr. Sprmger had been a J member of the Christian Church at Springport.He leaves to mourn his loss: one daughter, Mrs. John B'. Hale of Brew-ersville; one step-son,t Herbert Veach of Pendleton; three grand children, Edith and Harold Hale of Brewers-ville and Mrs. Martha Schuyler of South Bend; and one great grand daughter, Betty June Schuyler.
