The local pool tables are under going a thorough and efficient re pair this week. New cloths have been placed on the tables as well as new pockets on some tables. New cues have also been purchased for the ben efit of pool players in the commun ity. Mr. Ketchum is to be complimented on the new appearance of his place, the leveling of the floors and cov ering them with linoleum, a com plete paint job, and the work now being done have made quite a chance in the establishment. The work on the tables is being done by Mr. Saunders of Rockford, who is one of the best pool players in the country. He has appeared in various pool halls throughout the country in ex hibitions. With Mr. Saunders doing the work the tables should really be in first class condition; however, we suppose the pool balls will continue to roll off for a few of the local players.
