The Turner Opera House hosted a Tuesday evening entertainment by the G A B in aid of the State Soldier Home at Waupaca. The program featured Arion band Crescant orchestra a quartet and multiple solos plus speeches by Judge Cleveland Captain Marston and Gen Lakebid.

Thanksgiving pioneer Dr Linde passes in Oshkosh
A Thanksgiving morning obituary notes the death of Dr. Linde a pioneer respected by many in Oshkosh. Born February 17 1817 in Copenhagen Denmark he emigrated to America in 1842 later homesteading 28 acres where the Northern Hospital now stands. Funeral services from the family residence 459 Washington Street this afternoon.
