A 22 year old Beloit man Donald Retzlaff battled a 60 man posse in an Illinois cornfield after robbing Footville State Bank in Rock County. He was arraigned on federal bank robbery charges with a 20 000 bond and authorities said the loot was recovered. Paul Canary son of the bank president chased the suspect for about 40 miles before the key incident forced a stop.
