Two Whites Jailed In Alabama Blasts
In Birmingham Alabama two white men were jailed early today as part of an intensified probe into a series of bombings in the racially troubled city. BR E Chambliss 59 and Charles Cagle 22 both of the Birmingham area are held under surveillance by city county and federal agents. Wisconsin Tax Rates Rise with New Withholding Tables

Eleven Die On Highways In Wisconsin Toll Rises
Associated Press reports Wisconsin weekend highway crashes killed eleven people, lifting the 1963 toll to 642. Edson Kohn and his wife died in Shawano County after a collision near their home. five year old David Wiza was struck in West Allis. others included a sailor from Pittsburgh near Medford, Osceola fog strike victim, a Mayville skidding crash victim, and previously reported fatalities from Waterford Marshfield and Mayville. Raymond Creapeau of Milwaukee died later from injuries after being struck on a Milwaukee street.

Father Lon Escape Injury In Plane Crash
A small plane carrying Thomas J. Aylward and his father plowed through barbed wire on takeoff after an engine failure. Neither man was hurt though the craft suffered extensive damage. The younger Aylward piloted from Des Plaines to Hayward and made an emergency landing on a farm near Ladysmith, with a second engine failure during attempted takeoff. The plane was dismantled for repairs after removal to Ladysmith.
