Examination adjourned in Menasha case linked to alleged assault
In municipal court today the preliminary examination of Misa Marie Steffens of Menasha, charged with aiding Dr. Leo Preitzmann and George Kampo in an alleged attempted assault, was adjourned by mutual consent until next Friday morning. Steffens, at the time with Dr. Brenzinano and Kampe during the July night incident on Goldie Smith, was arrested on a District Attorney complaint for conspiracy. Separately, the state v. Anna Meyer burglary case is set for September 26, and the state v. George Lavin assault and battery was dismissed on a plea by George Kircher who also claimed costs.
