Associated Press report from Fort Worth Texas says Lieut P G Mihlder, an air instructor at Taliaferro Field, died from injuries received when his aircraft crashed Wednesday afternoon. Lieutenant Rickie Ths, who was with him, escaped with scratches.
A Los Angeles report questions if a girl found locally is Catherine Winters daughter of Dr W A Winters, missing since 1911, after a judge confirms the city’s inquiry into a prompted kidnapping case. Police circulated photos and descriptions to aid identification.

A United Press report announces the upcoming marriage of Ray Baker, director of the Mint, to Mrs Alfred G. Vanderbilt, widow of Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt. The ceremony is expected in early June with notable guests and Baker to remain in his Mint role in Washington.
