A pavilion on a hill above Lake Superior and its power house burned early today in Duluth Minnesota. A lack of water prevented intervention leading to total destruction. The incline car escaped destruction by sliding down the tracks and burning through gates into Superior street. Loss estimated at 60 000 dollars with about 18 000 dollars insured.

Boy Left With Leg Fractures After Velocipede Accident
Seven year old David Blissett suffered a double fracture of his right leg when attacked on a velocipede by ten year old Albert Zipper near Mt Vernon street and North Park avenue. The assailant allegedly harassed David before the mishap as the bike tipped and broke the bone in two places. David rode home four blocks with an injured leg, fearing possible ankle stiffness.
