Man Charged in Nine Slayings Near Feather River
YUBA CITY Calif a 37 year old farm labor contractor Juan V Corona was arrested at his home and charged with nine counts of serious case for the mass killings of nine men whose bodies were found buried near the Feather River. Victims, all middle aged Caucasians, were hacked with a machete or large knife over five to six weeks. Identification was made for Kenneth E Whitacre 40 of Alameda and Pete Peterson 53 of Marysville with others unidentified. Corona's arraignment was planned later today and he would be questioned with rights explained in Spanish.
