Eight Year Old Boy Drowns in Quarry Pool
William Bent, eight, drowned in a deep quarry pool near the Prautsch quarry on a Friday afternoon. The accident occurred while he and companions could not swim to reach him. Menasha plans to form a yacht club to race Oshkosh regatta but has decided to drop the plan for this year. Mrs. George Loescher is home after a fall. The May hall by the Menasha Elks drew about sixty couples with out of town guests. Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Felcker were held at Naymut Street. The Tia Julana, damaged by fire, was towed to the Menasha Manufacturing Company for repairs. A busload of Menasha youths attended a dance in Mikeaville and returned late. Professor Trevor of Lawrence University will speak at the Congregational church tomorrow evening. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rhue of Sheboygan visit. Louis Jourdain is in Milwaukee.

Mina Josephine Schultz of Otter Street was injured stepping from a street car on Main near Irving Street. She was knocked unconscious onto the pavement and taken to St Mary’s Hospital after a passerby summoned an ambulance.
