An explosion and fire at a Green Bay power plant transformer knocked out electric service in parts of Brown Kewaunee Door Manitowoc and Marinette counties. The blast hurled a copper cap over 200 feet. fire was contained by firefighters with no injuries reported. A Green Bay radio station and a TV station were temporarily off air.
