Youth Drowns In Marl Lake Near Oshkosh Ohio
James David Gallagher a 19 year old Clark County youth and barber apprentice in Oshkosh drowned while canoeing alone on Marl Lake in the Waupaca Chain o Lakes Sunday. He attended Oshkosh State College and lived at 513 Ceape Ave. Fond du Lac vocational study accompanied his apprenticeship begun April 1 1960. Body recovered at 3 30 p.m. by the sheriff's department fire crew in 35 feet of water. He was born October 5 1941 in Neillsville son of David and Mabel Gallagher. He belonged to Oshkosh Post C of the Travelers Protective Association. Funeral arrangements at Georges Funeral Home Neillsville.

Seven Die In Weekend Car Crashes In Wisconsin
Two cars collided head on in Sauk County Saturday night killing two men outright and a third died today. The weekend toll rose to seven deaths in Wisconsin with the year’s total at 282, compared to 269 a year ago. Robert Fox, 25, of Kenosha died in a Reedsburg hospital from injuries suffered in the crash involving five members of The Viscounts orchestra.
