Harrisburg May 22 The original boiler plate mill of Central Iron and Steel company was destroyed by fire early today causing an estimated loss of 200000 and leaving many workers unemployed. Insurance covers the loss. The blaze started in the roof of the eighty nine inch mill and swept through the structure as old timbers and grease soaked material fed the flames. The mills had been rebuilt recently with renewed machinery boilers and electrical apparatus. The plant was among the most up to date in boiler plate making in the region.
