Hillside Removal Ends Traffic Tieup on County Road
In Prairie du Chien Wisconsin county crews finished clearing a hillside that slid onto a county road between here and Ferryville after days of a traffic tieup. Heavy rains loosened the slope and the mass slid onto the highway Saturday. Upright oak trees were carried with the earth and stood over the road.
