Public Nuisance Charged Over Rendering Plant

Madison March 2 The state board of health issued orders against Wilkin Tain and Robert Llebenow directors to abate an alleged nuisance at their rendering plant. Over 20 cattle carcasses were left exposed without rendering until the stench became unbearable and menaced public health. They were given twenty five days to remove the carcasses.
