Menasha Plans Housing for Band Tournament Visitors

Menasha teams up for housing visitors for the Wisconsin school band tournament on May 15 and 16. District managers will recruit volunteers to survey every home, issuing duplicate coupons and coordinating staff within two to three days. Neenah city treasurer Walter Loehning has turned over the delinquent personal property tax list to the police department for collection. Chief C H Watts announced payment can be made at the police station to avoid a police visit. Officers will interview each delinquent taxpayer within a few days.

Menasha City Treasurer Carl A Heckrodt reports a total of 11 900 in state and county aid for Menasha. Of this 7 000 covers county aid for the board of education and school funds, while 4 900 represents 70 percent of state aid and per capita allocations.
