Brewster and two others plead not guilty in contempt case
West Coast Teamsters leader Frank W. Brewster and two colleagues pleaded not guilty in Federal Court to contempt charges for refusing to answer questions before the Senate investigating subcommittee on labor racketeering. A bench warrant was issued for a fourth official, Harry Reiss, who did not appear. Trials set for May 20 for Brewster, May 27 for Nugent Lapoma, and June 3 for Einar C.
