Milwaukee records August Goerke age sixty six died of apoplexy this morning after a lifelong talinting business career of thirty three years. He leaves a widow. In Chicago Rev Charles Joseph Little president of Garrett Biblical Institute Northwestern university died today from heart disease. In San Antonio Rev John Anthony Forest bishop of the Roman Catholic diocese died at Santa Messina infirmary aged seventy three.
George Thieme, the jetman accused of causing three deaths by plunging into the Shehoarean river, was arraigned in municipal court and waived examination. He was bound over to the circuit court on bonds of 4100 furnished by the Riebeway & Vilectrie company.
An Associated Press report notes Theodore Roosevelt, presented as the foremost private citizen not afraid to "ould p? again," addressed a large Mississippi crowd introduced by Governor Noel. He urged exercize of powers delegated by the people and highlighted three qualities: honesty courage and common sense.
Springfield March 11 State's Attorney Burke obtained a subpoena duces tecum for United States Senator Jerend W Radler of Texas to testify in the case against State Senator Joseph J Enderick of Chicago. The charge alleges a $2500 payment on July 28 1909 at the Broderick saloon in Chicago connected to Holstlaw's vote for Lori Maer for United States senator.
In Washington agents report a deposit slip from the State Bank of Chicago, claimed as evidence in Lorimer's election probe, disappeared while Senator Halsey spoke. Bailey of Texas said he has not been served a subpoena and cannot illuminate the papers' whereabouts.

William Istant cashier of the First National Bank in Kenosha died at his home from shock after the Pleasant Prairie powder plant blast on Thursday night. He was sixty six, previously ill but convalescent, and a prominent local figure. State Senator Isaac T. Bishop announced a bill to remove powder mills from thickly settled Wisconsin, to be introduced Monday and possibly enacted with an emergency clause. The San Francisco Labor Council refused endorsement of a Sacramento anti Asiatic bill framed by Senator Caminetti that would deny state suffrage to native born citizens whose parents were ineligible for citizenship. The council warned the measure would affect others beyond Asians.

A group from Milwaukee, the Pabst Blue Ribbon bowling team, visited the city during the state bowling tournament. The officers of the Pabst Brewing company bowled in the five man competition and dined at the English room of the Athearn hotel under supervision of William Schmidt, the local agent.
