Neenah Woman Struck and Killed by Train
Mrs Arnemann wife of William Arnemann chairman of the county supervisors was struck by a passenger train at the Winner Avenue crossing in Neenah Wisconsin Saturday evening. The victim born July 24 1852 was a longtime resident and homemaker beloved by family and community. An inquest was ordered with testimony from the train crew and coroner’s jury to follow. Funeral services are set for Tuesday afternoon.

Tragic Crossings at Isabella Street Near Winsecunnee
Mrs Ame no man was struck by a northbound passenger train near the Winseconne avenue crossing as she walked home from visiting a sick friend. Eyewitness Ray Vandewalker reported the impact at around dusk while the entry cites a dazzle from headlight and a late arrival of the train. She was found on the Washington avenue sidewalk with a crushed head and a broken left arm. The sole witness described the engine's speed and the driver’s statement as the vehicle halted after the collision. The woman had left home around 4 PM to help a sick neighbor and planned to walk back after visiting.
