Tragic Motorcycle Crash Claims Oshkosh Youth
A 15 year old Oshkosh boy William Kranz died after a head on collision on West New York Avenue. He rode as a passenger on his brother Warren Kranz’s motorcycle. The driver of the car Paul Wertsch Jr 17 faced charges after the crash near Walnut Street. William died at Mercy Hospital from a deep thigh artery wound. Warren sustained a broken ankle. Funeral services set for Algoma Boulevard Methodist Church with burial at Riverside Cemetery.

Body of Markesan man found in Grand River
A 60 year old Markesan resident John Prochnow was found in the Grand River in Markesan after a suspected accidental drowning. Police say he likely fell from a foot bridge around midnight or early Wednesday morning into about 1.5 feet of water. He had last been seen Tuesday evening and is survived by a brother and sister, both of Markesan. Highways in Wisconsin were reported dry and clear for winter driving.

Two single engine aircraft en route to Kenosha Wisconsin made forced landings Wednesday due to heavy fog near Clarion Pennsylvania.
