In Wausau Wisconsin and Emmet town early today a tornado wrecked the home and barn of Michael Kurtzweil, killing Laurence Salzmann, seventeen, and a two year old, with seventeen injured including Kurtzweil’s daughter’s wedding party. Four physicians summoned from nearby villages treated the injured as downed wires and widespread destruction disrupted communication.

Severe northwest storm devastates Minnesota County

Estimated total losses reach 375,000 with Minnesota City bearing 50,000 after a 20 foot by 10 foot gully ripped Main Street.
