Members of the One Catholic order Foresters announce a member from Morente Oshkosh has been chosen as delegate to the national convention. The event will be held at St Pant August 1.
Societies of St Mary’s Thaw Congregation of St Mary’s church Merritt Street plan a large Fourth of July picnic in North Park. The event will offer entertaining forms and a big attendance with a feature prize, a handsome chair donated by an Oshkosh furniture firm. Church societies will assist in arrangements and volunteer efforts.
The gentleman chosen is Mr. Louila Lang alderman of the Sixth ward. Lang attended the state Foresters convention at Menasha as representative of Gt. Stephen's coal No. 310. He is popular in Foresters ranks and beyond.
