Boys Lost in Fog On Bay Are Saved

Green Bay sheriff officers rescued three boys from foggy Green Bay waves. Albert Barret Jr., 14 of Little Suamico, Paul Coenen, 11 of De Pere, and Paul Van Gemert, 12 of Green Bay, had towed a fisherman's boat out into the bay. They drifted five hours, five miles from home before being found ten miles away.

Eisenhower Holds Private Talks as Nixon Dulles Visit

Milwaukeean Dies in River at Eureka

A Milwaukee man, Robert Jones, 35, drowned Sunday morning in Fox River near Eureka while diving for an outboard motor with companion Peter Graves. Rocket Sled Sets World Speed Mark

EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE Calif A sleek bullet nosed rocket sled sped 1560 miles an hour on a two mile track to set a world speed record for recoverable sleds W L Dittman head of Convairs thermodynamics lab said the sled broke the old mark of 1280 miles an hour in tests at the Air Force command flight test center the two unit 800 pound sled was propelled by 12 rockets with five on a pusher unit accelerating to over 620 mph in the first 990 feet then the remaining seven rockets fired to place the sled at the faster speed.

Milwaukee Woman Succeeds Sharett as Foreign Minister

TEL AVIV AP Mrs Golda Myerson a former Milwaukee Wisconsin school teacher and now Israel labor minister was named to succeed Moshe Sharett as foreign minister in a cabinet shakeup that gives Prime Minister David Ben Gurion control of foreign policy. Sharett will resign to become secretary general of the Labor Party and Abba Eban may be shifted to Washington to rejoin the foreign minister role.
