St Louis pilots Dale Jackson and Forest O Brine piloted the monoplane St. Louis Robin over Lambert Field at 3 p.m. as thousands watched. The crowd cheered as the plane descended to about 100 feet, then climbed and swung for another pass, drawing continued cheers from spectators.
Maj William Robertson of Curtiss-Robertson Airplane Manufacturing told Dale Jackson and Forest O Brine in the monoplane St Louis Robin to land today, saying they have done their stuff and they do not want to take any chances. He added they would feed them and supply fuel if needed. The pilots wives supported their goal of setting a 500 hour record.
The mono plane St. Louis Robin passed its 415th hour in the air at 2 17 p m today, exceeding the former endurance record by a full week. Maj. William B Robertson sponsored the flight and expected the pilots Cate Jackson and Forest O Brine to land tonight. Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Company offered $100 per hour beyond the previous mark and pledged more for 500 hours if they landed now. The crew noted no reason to quit, aiming for 500 hours as of now.

A Wausau man, Joseph Hoffman, was sentenced yesterday to two to five years in the state prison after pleading guilty to stealing one bottle of drink from a store. The court noted the offense occurred in Wausau and imposed the term accordingly.
