In municipal court this morning the case against James Kelly for larceny of four rugs from T. J. Barlow’s home was dropped by District Attorney C. D. Jackson entering nolle prosequi. Kelly had served thirty days in the workhouse and, after further custody, was deemed to have satisfied any offense. Fred Prettie pleaded guilty to an assault and battery with John Callahan and paid a $1 fine and cost.
