In a three and a half hour committee session on Tuesday the Oshkosh board of education outlined immediate district building needs with an estimated package of 2,692,500. The plan calls for a July vote and an informal meeting with city officials to discuss financing, with projects including Franklin Elementary additions Merrill Junior High work Webster Stanley additions a new West Side junior high school and several site and interior improvements across multiple schools. The total includes 919,059 for Franklin additions 1,330,000 for a new West Side junior high and 210,000 for Beach administration offices and equipment plus parking lot work and land purchase near Merrill School.

Train Crash Claims Life in Wisconsin Toll Rise
